White Christmas in Glasgow
White tee // White Docs // White hair // White Christmas
This weekend it snowed. And snowed.
From Hyndland to Hamilton, Byres Road to Buchanan Street, hoards of Christmas shoppers took to the streets battling what turned into a blizzard.
It's the time of year for reflection so all this white got us itching to compile our favourite white looks of 2009.
White on the Street:

THE ESSENTIAL WHITE
As much as we protest against the corporate commercialism that is the 'Chistmas holidays', we've got two white items we want Santa to bring us...

Hint hint
But remember kids, the ice outside means you've gotta wrap up. Big boots, wool coats and long scarfs we're the look of the weekend, just don't forget your winter whites:

From London with Love

It's no secret that Scotland is a creative place, with it's biggest city producing some of the most talented individuals of our time.
Jonathan Saunders, GSA graduate and Christopher Kane are two of the most obvious examples from fashion, and as they have shown, leaving Glasgow is sometimes a necessary step to achieving success.
Like Kane before her, native Kirsty has moved to London to fulfill her fashion dream - studying to become a womenswear designer. She's taken her Glasgow style to London, so it is only a matter of time before Facehunter gets his hands on her! Just remember Les Garcons were there there first ;-)

Study Break, Glasgow University
You may have seen our FB post...we were out at Glasgow Uni yesterday and got some great shots.
We found these girls taking a break from the books and wrapped up outside the main library. Great style.

Pam Hogg Exhibit, SWG3
We all know Pam Hogg is back. And what better place to show a retrospective than a city which has supported her from the beginning, Glasgow. After studying at the School of Art, in 1990 she had a show at Kelvingrove Art Gallery (the first fashion exhibition to be held there and also one of the highest public attendances) and now has landed at one of our favourites +44 141 Gallery.
Honorary Garcon Sam Fenn made it down with his camera to check out the crowd.
Open until this Sunday.

We caught these garcons on the way back to Glasgow School of Art...with a can of soda and a chippie. How very Glasweigan.

December Street Style, Buchanan St
The streets may be filled with rampant shoppers trudging concrete in search of presants - but that does'nt stop a few people standing out from the crowd. While checking out the new H&M on Buchanan street we spotted a couple of kids we wanted to photograph.
Here's our pic of the best street style from last week:
